THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW
Weather dependent - This tour is super trouper weather dependent! Our vendor reserves the right to cancel the tour in the case of bad weather! If the tour is canceled you will get the chance to do it on the other date or get fully reimbursed. When it comes to the island of Vis, it is quite far from the coast, which means that the sea there is more choppy and weather conditions are unstable.
Our vendor Duje is coming from the island of Šolta. He used to spend his childhood summers with his grandparents on the island where he developed a huge passion for the sea and boats. At the age of 14, he started to work as a sailor and then at the age of 18 as a captain on speedboats. With more than 100000 nautical miles behind him, we can say that you are in perfect hands during the boat tours. Today, Duje is collaborating with a few other skippers who are also experienced, responsible and knowledgeable on the territory.

This day coincided with the 4th of July and wow, what a day!! The trip to the cave was amazing, we had lots of drinks, a delicious lunch and fun spots to swim and hang out. Highly recommend this day, was one of the most fun days of the month!
Our group did this trip in the middle of the month and it was a lovely day. My favorite part was the secluded cove on Vis where we stopped to swim and snorkel. Definitely worth it!
When Croats want to celebrate life or honor a hero, they light the sky with flares while speeding in boats...just like our captain did. It was better than fireworks! We visited Vis for breakfast...a must. We stopped at our Captain's home island for an amazing lunch -- so delish and freshly caught seafood. Since there's a lot of swimming throughout the day, Captain made it his mission to teach me how to tread in the sea. A first for me!!! Between floating in a cave all to ourselves, sun-bathing on back of boat w/ banging beats or getting tipsy w/ the Mojito Man--what more could you want???
This was, hands down the best local experience. The guide took us on a private tour of islands, with great swimming spots at places away from all the tourists with things you wouldn't see on any other tour. They had many options after each spot and made it a "choose your own (guided) adventure." Honestly, this was more than worth it and will go down as my best excursion while in Split! Don't sleep on this one...just do it!
I was a little hesitant about booking this trip because it sounded a bit touristy and I had already spent time on Hvar. Fortunately, I'm so glad I hopped on at the last minute. This was a highlight of my time here in Split. Our captain was awesome - he gave us some options and tailored the trip to what the group wanted (swimming, local spots, no Hvar). Another review summed it up perfectly and I concur: "Amazing energy, music, dancing, swimming...all day long." It didn't feel like a tour at all, it felt like being out on an awesome boat with your friend showing you his favorite places. Not sure if RY uses the same tour group each time, but the one we had was amazing. And no matter what, don't miss out on the mojito man!
