DESCRIPTION
From Selina’s meeting point we will be driven to San Antonio’s station, an emblematic spot in the city’s history to then be taken to the highest area of the city via the cable cars of Medellin, arriving at the Ring Road Garden (Jardín Circunvalar and The Green Belt Project).
Taking the natural cobblestone trails via the lush Green Belt Project, our tour guide will explain the reason behind this idea and the importance of this project as we are introduce to a community mothers who work alongside the families that inhabit this commune.
After contemplating the city from one of its outstanding panoramic views, we will start our descent to The New Horizons Gardeners Network, the female gardeners project with sustainability, reinstitution and war recovery efforts. We will learn about their sowing, harvest and composting activities, as well as their entrepreneurship and with the organic fruits of their orchard. We'll take some snack while sharing their experience with earth, the families and the future of Medellin.
