Forbes ranked Kalk Bay as the coolest Neighbourhood in the World in 2018, and for obvious reasons. The quaint streets and cafes are filled with foodie delights set between Victorian and Edwardian period buildings. The curio shops are filled with rare books, keepsakes, and fashionable items among bohemian style antiques, and exquisite items that will tweak your senses. Latifa, our local guide will take you on a walking tour, sharing stories about her life growing up here as well as the community that has shaped this neighbourhood. Kalk Bay remained a mixed community of people from diverse backgrounds even during the Apartheid years and continues to draw a mix of people from all across the globe, visiting and enjoying this seaside village.
