Description
Enjoy a Sunday in the market "Lagunilla", then we will have food and drinks in the place where the Mariachi tradition was born: "Plaza Garibaldi"
La Lagunilla is the most famous market in the city, the antique site par excellence. Every Sunday antique dealers, merchants, and artists gather to trade with the nostalgia of vintage and those objects that remind us of unique times. After exploring a bit, get ready to literally join a Party in the Market.
Its origins as a street market date back more than 400 years, and to this day it is still the place to spend Sundays in the city. Afterward, we will walk to Tenampa, an iconic restaurant in Plaza Garibaldi.
Get ready to live a party in the market and probably buy lamps, hats, coats, military clothing, rhinestones, handmade jewelry, furniture, vinyl records, used books, or the occasional pre-Hispanic object... Maybe you bring that glorious 60's jukebox to your home. It is a very beautiful place.
