Meet Our Local Host
Hello everyone my name is Sebastian Valencia a 22 years old man born, raised and currently professionally guiding here, in the city of the eternal spring. My goal is hosting you into amazing spots of Medellin, where we can learn about history, culture, music, food, traditions and also solve all your questions or doubts about my homeland. As I always say, guiding is not a job, it is an amazing shared time in which I have the huge and honored responsibility of being the host, represent the Colombian people and make you love a bit more Medellin and its magic. Thus, I work with passion and happiness because I also learn from visitors and at the end we also say that we made worldwide friends.
More about me? I am a professional in modern languages so I can speak Spanish, English, French and medium German which I am currently working hard (Bonus: one day I would like to speak Portuguese and Italian). I love soccer (playing and watching) and music so if you have a playlist or an artist in these languages you want me to check, I’ll be more than happy and grateful because my learning method is through rhythms and lyrics, music connects people. Finally, I am proud of being Colombian and what it means, what I like the most of Colombia is the diverse we can find here, you drive just 3 hours away of the city and suddenly accent, food, culture, weather and music will change so it means tons of adventures to have.
I am looking forward being with you and enjoying, dancing, tasting, walking, discovering, learning, telling and the most important smiling around Medellín!
