Description
This end-to-end cooking experience will take you to the market and into a local's kitchen to learn how to make authentic Mexican salsas, hand-made tortillas, and traditional Mexican food like mole, tacos, and more! This is not just a cooking class, there will be a whole delicious meal prepared by yourself, plus you’ll be ready to bring your skills back home to impress your family & friends.
The group will meet at an iconic house in Juarez Neighborhood and head to Mercado Juarez. You will buy the fresh ingredients to cook a delicious variety of Mexican salsas, tortillas, and food. Ingredients in hand, you will go back to the kitchen of a local's house, a few steps away from the market, and will get right down to business, the group will have different tasks to prepare the food and will learn the importance of the kitchen in a house of the Mexican Families.
You will cook salsas in traditional ways: green (boiled salsa), red chunky (smoked salsa), and Guacamole (raw salsa) All different in personality, flavor, chile, and spicy level. At the same time, you will prepare food to eat with the final salsa result and your own hand-made tortillas. Hibiscus water or Margaritas included. In the end, you will take home a jar of self-made salsa and new recipes to take home!
