Description

Enjoy a full weekend in one of Colombia's most beautiful territories, discover yourself why this is truly a magical place. Visit Tayrona Park recognized by its beautiful lush green jungle, and warm water beaches or enjoy the calm and the diversity of Colombia's nature in our kayak experience at Buritica River.

Be amazed by the beauty of Santa Marta Sea in our sailboat experience, a full day of beach, a full day of beach, sea, paddle board and more!

The foothills of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, the highest coastal mountain in the world, sink into the sea like the fingers of a gigantic hand between which bays and coves of singular beauty are formed: with its white sand beaches bounded by, mangroves, bushes, or forests, and all bathed by the crystalline waters of the Caribbean Sea. There are many attractions offered by the Tayrona National Park. For those looking for contemplation and rest, the Park offers magnificent beaches and the relaxing panorama of an intensely blue sea. Those who are attracted to more exciting activities can enjoy hiking, kayaking down the river, snorkeling, and autonomous diving. This experience is for nature lovers, those in search of quiet and biodiverse places, willing to live the adventures of the river, sea, and jungle, as well as learn more about the indigenous culture and environment of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta.

        Fantastic Weekend!

I almost did not buy this trip and am so glad I did! Santa Marta exceeded my expectations. I absolutely loved this trip! Mario is an excellent, fun guide. He took us to El Rio hostel to do our hike, kayaking trip and hang out (and have lunch). El Rio is well known among travelers from the U.K. because it is fantastic. I loved chilling in the hammocks with my book after our adventurous kayaking trip that included linking arms to cross a river with a strong current, hiking beautiful terrain, kayaking to a rock to jump off of, jumping from a rope swing, and going down a giant water slide into the river. We had a blast! Dinner in Santa Marta at El Mexican we fabulous, too. The second day, we boarded a beautiful sailboat to hang out and have lunch on a pretty beach. The choppy water bothered one in our group, but she still enjoyed the ride. I got the Cartagena add-on as well, which was enjoyable, but not the blast that Santa Marta was! Do this trip! You will not be sorry. It was the highlight of my Medellin month.

        Take me baccccckkk!!!

We had a wonderful time in Santa Marta. Sailing in the ocean and kayaking in the river was SOOO fun! The hostel that we spent the day on Saturday was beautiful and very vibey. Also, I wasn't expecting that we were staying at the Marriot hotel, and that was a very nice surprise to everyone! This trip was perfect to connect with the community, in comparison with other side trips this is not a GO GO trip therefore we had the chance to go on our own pace and not to feel tired afterwards. Also the experiences that RY curated for us where so well done and our host (MARIO) was very kind and he brought a very cool energy to our group. It was definitely one of the highlights of our month in Medellín!

Santa Marta offers incredible landscapes to be a part of!

Santa Marta offers incredible landscapes to be a part of! The surrounding landscape is ocean, desert, and jungle, all within a couple hours drive. It was also eye-opening to see the humble living conditions of the surrounding community.

Santa Marta with Cata and Juan- don't miss it!

We had the best weekend with Cata and Juan in Santa Marta! They took us to a bar looking over the marina to watch one of the most beautiful sunsets we had ever seen. Kayaking on the river and hanging out at El Rio hostel (amazing vibes and delicious vegan food) hostel was so much fun (day 1) , and we had an amazing day swimming/boating/ snorkeling on day 2. They take care of everything and you just need to show up :)
